Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a beautiful Christmas Eve 🙂 ❤ As you can tell by the title, today is my brother Joshua’s 16th birthday! I wanted to do a fun celebration post for him, so I gathered a bunch of pictures, made some collages, and I’m excited to share them with you today. I’ll also be talking about a lot of the fun memories he and I have shared over the years as we grew up together, as many of them are featured in the photos I found! ❤
I was definitely a proud big sister, lol. I had totally wanted a sister before I found out it was a boy – I was three years old and was super intent on having tea parties with my new little sibling – but Joshua proved to me that brothers can be super cool, too. 😉
Oh my, haha that picture in the top right corner is one of my all time favorites! We were so cute! We went on fun little adventures when we were younger 🙂 Easter egg hunts, new playgrounds, new places to explore outside…
He and I have so many awesome memories playing on the back porch at our childhood home! We played with cars, found wildlife, filled a kiddie pool in the summer months, rode our bikes and trikes when they were small enough to comfortably go in a little circle, haha. And we had SO much fun riding around our spacious backyard!
Awww yeah!! CAR RIDES and SNOW! 😀 We always found creative ways to stay occupied on long car rides lol, so we made them fun. Whenever we happened to get snow, we really celebrated it because the fun was so short-lived. However much snow we got, we sure enjoyed it!
Ohhh I totally forgot about how we used to parkour along the sides of the porch! Haha! I always really enjoyed it when we went strawberry-picking 🙂 and our restaurant adventures were always delicious! As you can see in the photo above, there’s no time for posing when amazing food’s in front of you. 😉
Ooh those car rides with our aunt were some of my favorites! And Guitar Hero is one of the coolest games I’ve ever played. 🙂
Six Flags Over Georgia was a TON of fun to visit! 😀 (Even though the roller coasters made me anxious, haha) I never thought Joshua would pass me in height, but somehow… it happened. And now I’ll never live it down. XD
When he and I started being able to go places just the two of us, we were SO excited! It was super independent and awesome and daring, haha.
I faced a fear of mine with Joshua: we both rode the largest roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia together!
Thanks so much for reading! I loved looking back through these photos. Joshua and I have always been really close, and we share so many epic memories with each other. Even though he’s just turned sixteen today, I know we still have a lot more adventures to go on! 😀
