Memory Profiles: Autumn Adventures

Hello! I hope you’re doing well. ๐Ÿ™‚ In this post, I will be sharing with you a collection of photos that showcase fall adventures from my childhood! I had a lot of fun gathering up all the pics to share with you today, because it was like taking a virtual ride back through several awesome memories! Fall has always been my favorite season – the weather is epic, the decor is fun, the scenery is gorgeous, and there are various fun activities to be done. I accidentally rhymed in that sentence, but I promise you it was unintentional lol

I’ve shared one other post in this series, and in that one, I talked about my adventures at Zoo Atlanta (check it out here)!

Quick side note:ย Because I was born in 2000, all of the years listed for the photos correspond with my age from that year. It’s easy to calculate!

Let’s get right into the post!

– Autumn Adventures –

Ooh just look at my haircut, haha! In these pictures, you’ll find me (clockwise from left) (1) riding in a stroller at a nature preserve with Joshua, (2) deciding on a pumpkin at a pumpkin patch, and (3 and 4) watching my dad carve a pumpkin. I have a very faint memory of riding in the stroller with Joshua, but I can’t remember the other photos being taken very well.

I have no idea how I was posing for this photo. Arm up, chest out, leg bent – haha! I’m pretty sure I was at the pumpkin patch I shared a picture of from the previous year, although I don’t know why they would have had livestock.

What a cutie. I love this picture my mom took of me! I always took picking a pumpkin to carve very seriously – I set out to find the “perfect” one and was always confident in whichever one I chose, hehe

Aww there are so many fun memories pictured here! Above, you’ll find (clockwise from left) (1) drinking apple juice with Joshua at our great-grandmother’s house, (2) playing around in the backyard with Joshua, (3) posing as a detective with my mom, and (4) riding bikes with Joshua.

I love the casual pose I went with, and then there’s Joshua being a goober in the background!

All of the pictures in the collage above are from the Georgia State Fair I went to with my family! We had a lot of fun riding the rides, feeding various farm animals, trying new food, and taking tons of fun pictures. I’d love to go back someday.

I love how both of us look in hoodies!! We were so cute haha

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you a picture of preteen Maggie in her natural habitat: CFA!!! My love for this glorious restaurant has been around for more than a decade, haha! (I just noticed that the cups on the table say the NEW spicy chicken sandwich – that thing has been around for nine years?!)

For some reason, there were a lot of pictures of me with Samuel in 2013, so I wanted to share some of them in this post! He was two that year, and he’s so adorable in all of these photos. You can see us (clockwise from left) (1) taking a selfie on the front porch, (2) swinging in our backyard, and (3) chilling at a fountain during a fall festival.

Look at me! At fourteen years old, I was happily convinced that this cool Flash shirt gave me super speed. (Not really, but I thought it was funny) My mom took this photo of me before I began dashing around our backyard. Fun times, haha!

That fall, I faced a mini fear of mine: zip-lining! I really wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it, but now I’m really glad I went through with it – zip-lining over that apple orchard was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I’d love to do it again!

Alas, double Yorick!! Haha I love how my mom ended up taking not one, butย two pictures of me copying Hamlet. I always start fangirling over the Halloween decor when stores start selling them, because that means Yorick’s around there somewhere. I don’t care how clichรฉ the whole Hamlet pose is, I think it’s hilarious!

That Yorick stunt was quite the way to end this post, haha, but that’s my silly side for you! I hope you had fun scrolling through all of these photos – as you can see, I’ve had a lot of fun fall adventures over the years! ๐Ÿ˜€
