Earnestly Observe His Ways

Earnestly Observe His Ways

Hello! Happy Sunday to you. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’› In this post, I will be continuing my study series of Psalm 119, which I’m really enjoying blogging about! Spending time praying about each verse and then writing about what the Lord teaches me through them has been a beautiful experience. ❀️

Let’s get right into it!

Psalm 119:4

“You have commanded us
to keep Your precepts,
that we should
observe them diligently.”

As this verse displays, the Lord doesn’t just hope or ask us to keep His precepts – He has commanded us to do so! While His love for us is complete and everlasting, He also knows how important it is for us to be directed in the way He desires for us to go. The plans He has for us are so much more wonderful than we could ever dream of for ourselves, and when we trust in Him, He is able to make His dreams for us our reality. πŸ₯°

The second part of Psalm 119:4 says that we should observe His precepts diligently. ‘Diligence’ is defined as “steady, earnest, and energetic effort.” What a beautiful quality it is be energetic in our observance of His precepts! πŸ’›

My encouragement to you today is to earnestly consider His plans for you and act in obedience. Whatever you may be going through in this moment, remember that the Lord’s love will carry you through this.

I’m praying that you have a beautiful rest of the weekend! πŸ™‚
