A Visit To Trader Joe’s

A Visit To Trader Joe’s

Hello! I hope you’re doing well. ❤ Yesterday, I shared that my mom took the pictures for my outfit of the day at a location that I would disclose in another post. That’s what I’ll be writing about today! Late on Tuesday morning, I got to go to Trader Joe’s with my mom and little sisters.

Elizabeth decided not to look at the camera, so she’s looking off into the distance haha

I always love looking at the little plants they keep outside the doors of Trader Joe’s, but I decided to quit buying them when I found out that house plants can really affect people with pollen allergies. Since I’m allergic to all kinds of pollen (*sighs*), I’m taking the safe route and keeping real plants out of my room.

My mom tried to get a picture of both of us smiling and posing, but that didn’t work, so here’s a cute pic of us not paying attention to the camera, haha!

I bought some healthy snacks that I’ll be writing about in a future post. I’m excited to share that with you!

Whenever I take selfies out in public, I always do it very quickly because I’d feel awkward if someone caught me grinning at my phone. hehe

Elizabeth loved having the little animal crackers that the staff members offer to any little kids shopping with their parents. The main reason this was such an enjoyable outing for all of us is because Elizabeth was happy and content the whole time! Life with Elizabeth takes a lot of planning ahead, because we have to figure out far in advance how our family can accommodate her so that she understands what’s going on and enjoys herself. It can be tricky sometimes, but the happy moments are always so rewarding.

My mom got Isabella to smile by playing peek-a-boo with her behind the camera. She still wouldn’t look at the camera, but at least she was happy! (I don’t know what it is about this photo, but I can really tell how big Isabella’s getting! Ahhh!!!)

Here’s another photo from the ‘outfit of the day’ photoshoot! I enjoyed having these pictures taken. ❤ You can see what shoes I was wearing in this photo – they’re the same Nike’s from this photoshoot I did last year. I adore those shoes, but I can’t find enough clothes that match them! xD

Because of the time of day we went to Trader Joe’s, I knew I’d need to buy myself lunch, so I looked in the deli section of the store. I was absolutely intrigued when I found this sandwich! (And I also purchased a KIND bar to go with it.)

As you can see, it has sliced turkey, sliced apples, lettuce, aged cheddar, and baby argula & dijon mayonnaise. It had the most interesting texture, and while I didn’t end up loving how it tasted (the cheese was pretty strong, lol), I still enjoyed it for its unique blend of flavors.

Thank you so much for reading! Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite places to shop, so getting to go with my mom and little sisters was a real treat. 🙂

  1. Love your pictures! Isabella looks so big now! I’m so glad Elizabeth had an enjoyable time! Trader Joes is amazing! The sandwich sounds very interesting. Have you ever had the Trader Joe’s Iced Tea Lemonade? It’s so good, especially in the summer! ☺

    1. Same! 🙌🏼 I love the Scandinavian Swimmer candy the most, but I didn’t buy any this last time because I’m cutting back on sugar, haha. 😀 What’s your favorite thing?

      1. Ooh, yum!! I’ve had that. Hmm, well, I always love getting their strawberry/banana yogurts. (I know, sounds pretty weird, but they’re pretty healthy and taste great!)

  3. Cheddar is pretty strong on its own, let alone aged. The apple and cheese reminds me of a cheese plate. But apple and turkey, I wouldn’t think of at first but it sounds lovely!!!!!

So glad you all had a good outing!!

      Thank you! ❤
