Hey there! I hope you’re having a beautiful day. ❤ In this post, I’ll be sharing an ‘outfit of the day’ photoshoot with you! I haven’t done one of these in just over a year, which is crazy, but I’m glad that I have a new one to write about today. 🙂 My mom took these pictures for me while she and I were out with the girls yesterday (I’ll share where we went in an upcoming post!). I love getting to have her as my photographer, because she helps me think of poses when I start feeling awkward in front of the camera, haha! I don’t know why it’s so easy for photographers to feel shy about being photographed themselves, but it’s an absolutely real thing.
Summer OOTD #2 – Floral/Casual
Here in Georgia, it rained a lot over this past weekend! Because of this, the earth ’round these parts (haha) has cooled quite a bit, resulting in a drop in temperatures and overall humidity. Wearing jeans at this time of year is usually completely out of the question, but for this week only (apparently, there’s a special deal going on lol), the weather is making an exception!
This was the first time I wore my new shirt (Goodwill), and I love how it looks with my bag (thrift store) and jeans (thrift store). You can barely see the bracelets I wore on my left wrist, so I’ll have to get a better picture of them another time!
I kept forgetting to buy sunglasses every time I went out, but I finally remembered to buy myself a pair (from Walmart) last week! I love the gold accent along the top of the frames, they’re very comfortable, and the color of the lenses makes them pleasing to look through.
Real moment: I haven’t been loving how my skin looks, what with the multiple breakouts I’ve had recently. However, this outfit really gave me a boost in confidence! It reminded me that when I feel pretty, then I look pretty, which is one of my main goals in the outfits I put together: to feel happy and beautiful in them. ❤
