Inspirational Blogger Award

A blogger I recently met, the lovely Autumn (check out her blog here!), has nominated me for the Inspirational Blogger Award! I’d like to truly thank her for thinking of me. Her motivational, fun posts are among my favorite to see pop up in my Reader; she brings a lot of positivity and warmth to the blogging world!

The Rules:

  • Thank the blogger that nominated you & link to their blog.
  • Link to Autumn’s Angle & this post (what the award is about).
  • Use the award image on your post & if you want, display it proudly on your blog somewhere else.
  • Answer 5 Questions created from the ‘nominator’!
  • Write an extract (of approximately 100 words) about something that interests YOU! This can be in any written style (post/ poem/ creative writing/ etc)
  • Nominate other blogs that you feel are worthy of the award – preferably 1 ‘bigger’ (over 200 followers) blog & 1 ‘smaller’ (under 200 followers) blog.
  • Create 5 Questions for them to answer!

This award has been set up by me, Autumn, for bloggers that go the extra mile, bloggers that week in, week out post exceptionally good content and bloggers that deserve recognition for their hard work.

Autumn’s 5 Questions +
My Answers

1. What is a saying or quote that inspires you everyday?

The one I have on a print in my room: “No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.” – Robin Williams. It encourages me not to give up on ideas I may think are silly at first, because all it takes is one revolutionary idea to change the world!

2. Who do you look up to or aspire to be more like in your life?

Many people come to mind when I read questions like this. Narrowing it down to one individual would put that person on a pedestal of sorts, and honestly, there isn’t just one that I aspire to be like. Various people inspire me to be the best version of myself that I can be. My heart goes out to all of them. ❤

3. Who or what inspires you to continue when things get tough?

Spending time with the Lord is what keeps me grounded and at peace in the storms in my life. I’ll read Bible verses, talk to Him, and recall to mind all of the past things He’s led me victoriously through. He’s the reason I’m as strong as I am today. ❤ I am strong in His strength!

4. What object or thing are you closest to and why?

Physically, the mouse that goes with my laptop. Haha! Metaphorically, I’d say different stuffed animals that meant a lot to me when I was little.

5. What memory means the most to you and why?

Meeting my sister, Elizabeth, was a pretty monumental day in my life. ❤ A lot of other memories came to mind as well, but I had to narrow it down to just one!

Something That Interests Me:

COMEDY. It’s a word full of life and laughter that brings a huge grin to my face. When I think of what this word means to me, I think of making my family laugh, of times when I’ve impressed people I’ve just met with my quick wit, and of watching funny movies and laughing until I cry. Laughter, improv, and comedy play a huge role in my heart and life, and it is certainly one of the main reasons I enjoy living as much as I do. Having good comedic timing helps me to see the world from hilarious angles.

My Nominations:

{my smaller blogger nominee}Isabel @ Chasing Fantasia! (I started following her blog maybe six months ago, and I absolutely adore her posts! They’re so creative and fun, and she’s a very nice blogger to interact with. Her ‘respectable sins’ series (see here), where she talks about what she learned from studying a Christian book, have deeply inspired me. That’s why I thought of her for this award!)

{my bigger blogger nominee}Jirah @ Jirah Merizz! (I met Jirah in the summer of 2017, and I’ve loved her blog ever since! She has a way of inspiring me [and I’m sure everyone else who comes across her blog!] with each post that she writes – Jirah Merizz is a beautiful addition to my Reader. One post of hers that I recently loved was seeing what she got for her 18th birthday (see here), but honestly, all of her posts are great!)

5 Questions For My Nominees:

1. Is what you’re doing now what you always wanted to do growing up?

2. What makes you feel accomplished?

3. What would your best friend say is your best quality?

4. What’s one thing you wish you knew how to do?

5. Who is your greatest hero?

Thank you so much for reading! I enjoyed writing my first award post of the new year. ❤
