November 2018 Goals

November 2018 Goals

Hi there! Happy Saturday to you! πŸ’› Well, it looks like I’ve got so used to writing posts daily that it has carried right over into November. πŸ˜‚ Haha! I’m back again with another fun post to share with you, and this time, it’s about my focuses for this upcoming month.

I always underestimate my ability to completely forget about what I set out to do each month. I’ll write a list – usually on my blog – then I vaguely remember to do some of it, but the rest completely slips my mind. I blame it on my tendency to accomplish what captures my attention the most instead of what’s actually important. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

As a rule of thumb, I find that monthly focuses are easier to keep up with than literal tasks. Those are much more efficient on a daily basis, not a monthly one! Below, I’ll share some of the things with you that I know I’ll do over the next few weeks. I definitely encourage you to make a similar list yourself – it always helps me to know I’m utilizing my time and not just making it through every day. πŸ’œ

Get more involved in church. I can’t wait to start helping out wherever I’m needed! Last weekend, I talked with one of the pastors about what I could help them out with, so I’ll hopefully be able to begin doing some of those things soon.

Finish cleaning up / organizing my closet. This is my eternal goal πŸ˜‚ I mean, why is it so difficult?? It’s impossible to find a place for EVERYTHING – there’s always at least a dozen things scattered across the floor or piled on the shelves that doesn’t belong anywhere. One day, I’ll figure it out – hopefully sooner, rather than later!

Create more. This is pretty broad hehe, but here are a few examples: coloring, illustrating, short stories, DIY projects, new recipes, and photoshoots.

Spend time outside enjoying the weather. Well, within my physical capabilities. Apparently, I’m sensitive to most trees and grasses! But I’d like to enjoy the cooler weather as much as I can.

Read at least one book. This would be awesome to get done, considering I have soooo many books on my ‘To Read List,’ yet I don’t get around to reading any of them. πŸ˜†

Thank you for reading! I enjoyed writing about what I’ll be up to in the weeks to come. Let me know in the comments below:

What are YOUR November goals?

I hope you have a great day!

  1. “I find that monthly focuses are easier to keep up with than literal tasks. Those are much more efficient on a daily basis, not a monthly one!”, this is so interesting, I’ve never thought like this, but it makes so much sense. Maybe my november goals are to present a project in my University and to keep posting texts here.

  3. Setting goals for each month is always a good idea ☺ Good luck with all your November goals!! Hahah, I agree with you, cleaning up a closet is always difficult. A few days after organising my wardrobe I have a mess again, whyy?? πŸ˜‚ Reading books is awesome! My ‘To Read List’ is so long too but unfortunately I don’t have enough time to read at the moment. School makes me so busy πŸ˜‘ Happy November, Maggie! May God bless your month πŸ’–
