Loving The Little Things – October 2018

Loving The Little Things – October 2018

Hi there! πŸ’› Happy Sunday to you (: Since I was thirteen years old, I have loved celebrating the little things that make life worth living. This desire was first prompted by One Direction’s song Little Things on their ‘Take Me Home’ album (I love all of those songs haha). While their take on the phrase was admiring all of the little things about a girl (or five girls … since there were five guys in the band? πŸ˜‚), I took the meaning deeper and found reason to love every little thing in life that stands out to me.

So, in this post, the first of its kind, I’m going to compile lots of things that have been making up my happiness lately. I won’t give the backstory behind them, which will add to the simplicity of this post. πŸ’–

I hope you enjoy reading about the little things I’ve been loving!

  1. Aaah, Macarena! It’s such a classic! Do you know the dance too? haha
Here in Romania Macarena and El Meneaito (I think that’s what it’s called) are suuuper popular party songs! My parents grew up dancing to them. πŸ˜€

This month I’ve been loving making new illustrations and playing with my cats! The weather has been great too! ^^

    1. It really is, haha! Yes! I dance along to it on my JustDance game 😊 lol
Aw that’s cool! I first heard Macarena in 2012 at my aunt’s wedding, and I’ve loved it ever since. XD
Aww that’s great, Oxria! I can’t wait to buy some more of your prints πŸ˜πŸ’™

  2. Amazing post!! Some time ago I came up with an idea to have a notebook where I could write down things that made me happy each day πŸ’› I haven’t created this notebook yet, but I’m going to do it soon. Because I’m an optimist, I think that there’s always something nice that happens to us everyday and we should see the good even in bad things! That’s one of the reasons why I liked this post – it’s so optimistic! 😊 Wow, that’s great you have a rose gold iPhone – this colour is amazing 😍 I’m so happy that you blog every day this month! I love your posts so much! And I’m also a bit jealous that you have enough time to post so often as distinct from me πŸ˜‚ To be honest, I know the Macarena dance but I never know how to sing that song hahah. Can’t wait to see your next post tomorrow! ❀

    1. Thank you, Ann! ❀ Aw I love that idea – you should definitely make that notebook! πŸ™‚ That’s very true, even on the days when it’s hard for us to see the good.
Ahhh yes, it is so pretty 😍
That means a lot to me, Ann! Thank you! Hahah, it definitely takes a lot of work πŸ˜‚ I love Macarena, too, although I just learned the lyrics a few weeks ago since I’m learning Spanish, haha! Thanks again!

    1. Yes! There have been a few days where I wrote a quick post for the next day because I hadn’t planned anything longer, but otherwise, it’s been a lot of fun.
