Sibling Adventures | Part Two

Sibling Adventures | Part Two

Hi there! I hope you’re having a beautiful Friday 🙂 ❤ This is part two of my blog series documenting the outings I’ve gone on with my siblings! Being the eldest of five kids has its epic benefits, including being the awesome family member who has lots of time to take the younger ones fun places, haha! This last month or so has held lots of adventures for us, and I’m excited to share some of them with you today. (Click here to read my post on the biking adventure I went on with Joshua recently!)

Sibling Adventures | Part Two

Craft Festival with Joshua and Elizabeth

One Saturday a few weeks ago, I went out in the afternoon with Joshua and Elizabeth for us to all get ice cream, then visit a playground for Elizabeth to play at. That was our plan, anyway! We got the ice cream while Elizabeth napped and made our way over to the playground … only to find out that the roads there were blocked off for a craft festival! We’d never been to this one, and Joshua was excited about seeing what everyone had made to sell. I’ve enjoyed craft fairs for a long time, so we paid for parking, woke Elizabeth, and made our way over to the festivities! (As you can see by the image above, she wasn’t too keen on waking up yet, lol! But she brightened up once I started giving her ice cream 🙂 )

I didn’t get too many pictures of the vendors, just to respect everyone’s privacy, but I did enjoy seeing what everyone had made – as well as photographing different scenery! I bought some desk decor and a bag of kettle corn for me and Joshua to share. (Although that ended up being a HUGE mistake, since I was still recovering from my wisdom teeth surgery and the corn got stuck in my mouth! Ugh!)

We kept to the shade and didn’t stay for too long because the sun made all of us really hot. Even in the mid-afternoon here, the direct sun is crazy hot!

Skating with Joshua

A few weeks ago, I took Joshua to a skating rink not too far from where we live, and we both had a great time! We’ve been going to this location on and off for the last few years, and it’s still just as nice as it’s always been. 🙂 The music’s just the right volume, it’s very family-oriented, and we have a blast every time.

I loved the new updated disco balls and wall art!

Another thing we did while here was one game of billiards, which I really enjoyed! I’m not as good as Joshua is, he’s very good at it haha, but it was still fun. I learned a lot and had fun skating around the table while I waited for my turn to come back around.

Bowling with Joshua and Samuel

One morning two weeks ago, I took my little brothers to go bowling! We all enjoy it, even though we still have a lot to learn haha. The funny thing was, we played three games and each of us won one! It was very nice for the competitive sides of all of us, haha!

Our view of the bowling lanes.

Samuel was very enthusiastic and had a lot of fun!

I love finding the art in my surroundings, and I thought these bowling balls were so pretty.

Billiards with Joshua

The same place that we’ve gone bowling at a couple times recently has a billiards room! I went with Joshua this past Tuesday morning to play billiards, and it was a lot of fun. We were the only ones there the entire time, so it felt like we’d rented a party room or something, haha!

I took some photos (most of which turned out nicely!), but for the rest of the hour we paid to play, I focused on trying to win at least one of the five games we did. (The only one I won was when he scratched the 8 ball at the end, lol)

Sneaky selfie. He was very focused!

While laughing over this shooting tactic of his, I also had to photograph it.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed reading about our adventures – I certainly enjoyed telling you about them. 🙂

Have a beautiful weekend!

    1. We had a ton of fun! Yes, they love going places with me 🙂 Well, he won all of the games, but I think that particular tactic I shared a picture of didn’t score him a ball, haha!
