Surprise Spotlight | Jordan From Dreamer’s Outlet

Hi there, and Happy Saturday to you! ❤ I have a very fun, exciting post to share today! Yesterday, I was thinking about how I miss doing my Spotlight Saturday series on the weekends, because those posts were a great way to learn more about the people behind this awesome blogging community. However, after compiling and writing as many as I did last year, I grew tired of the format – they all take a while to do, and it became tiresome much of the time. I didn’t want to stop spreading the news about wonderful bloggers, though, so I’ve come up with a new idea for a series that can teach you guys more about some of the best bloggers I know!

For this weekend, I decided to spotlight a very dear friend of mine. Over the past few months, we’ve become really close friends, and that friendship means a lot to both of us! I’m so happy we met – we get along so well, and we honestly have the same sense of humor, haha!

In this post, I will be giving you a mini tour around her blog, introducing you to who she is, and letting you know some of my favorite aspects about her site.

I am very happy to introduce you to …

Jordan from Dreamer’s Outlet!

“I’ve got a whole little world in my head- a world of poems,
pictures, and prayers that can build and build and build until I fear my little world may explode into shards of unpursued dreams and undiscovered potential. And I have a feeling I’m not alone. So, with the good Lord and a keyboard, I hope I can spread some sunshine onto even just one other’s little world.”

Meet The Blogger –
4 Things About Jordan

First of all, you must know that Jordan is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She is extremely easy to talk to, will go out of her way to be kind and encouraging, and she loves sharing this inspiration in all of her blog posts, too!

At the moment, she is pursuing a career in education/counseling. First, she was thinking about becoming an elementary school teacher, but in following the Lord’s leading, she now desires to be a middle school counselor! I honestly think this is the perfect job for her, because as I mentioned, she is so much fun to talk to, and I can tell that she adores children, as well. I can’t wait to see where the Lord will take her on this career path! ❤

After having the pleasure of reading some of her work, I can confidently say (haha) that Jordan is a fantastic writer! She has dreamed of creating an inspirational Disney book series for children/preteens these last couple of years, and just recently began working on the first manuscript. I love that her passion for this book series is fueled by the desire to market fantasy novels that are fun and uplifting, because just like her, I’ve noticed how many Disney spin-off shows and books become dark fairytales very quickly. I know that the series she’s writing will be a hit with children everywhere!

The fourth thing I’d like to tell you is that she is very open, honest, and inspiring. She’s mentioned to me before that one of the most beautiful ways we can be a witness to others is to tell them of how the Lord is working in and through us! When we go through hardships and He helps us grow through them, they make for beautiful stories to tell later. She’s who she is now because of who the Lord has created her to be – and that fact is absolutely beautiful to me. ❤ You can see her honesty in every post she writes; she never fails to brighten up my Reader!

Some of her most frequently used blog categories are …

Why It’s Okay to Change Your Mind–
Over and Over and Over Again

— In this post, Jordan went over some of the recent decisions she’s had to make, as well as related thoughts she’s been having, too. I enjoyed getting to read this life update, especially since things are looking up for her career-wise! It blesses me to know she has peace of mind with these career decisions. Read this post here!

Monday Mantra: Fairytale Edition

— Jordan has been doing this series every Monday for a while now, and if I’m being honest here, it is one of my all-time favorite blog series to read! This particular edition focuses on Disney (which she absolutely loves, by the way!) and storywriting (another specialty of hers!). These posts always ensure a great start to the new week – especially mine. xx You can read this post here!

3 Steps to Promote Productivity Today

— Like I mentioned a bit earlier in this post, Jordan is very inspirational! In this post, she encourages readers through three easy steps to promote greater productivity, and I personally appreciated these reminders. Being aware of how and where we’re spending our time is one of the ways she mentioned we can be more productive, which I completely agree with. Read this post for yourself here!

Why You Shouldn’t Share All Your Resolutions

— Around the start of the new year, Jordan wrote about the beauty behind at least one of our resolutions being something we keep to ourselves! While some goals certainly need encouragement and motivation from others (there’s nothing wrong with that), it is also wonderful to inspire ourselves to complete something … even when no one else knows we desire to do it. Read this great post here.

It would make me and Jordan so happy if you could check out Dreamer’s Outlet for yourself! Her blog is so much fun to read, and is extremely inspirational, as well.

  2. Maggie, AHHH, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Your friendship has brought so many unexpected blessings into my life and a kindred spirit of kindness and Godliness when I felt my loneliest. Not gonna lie, I almost cried when I read this haha! (P.s. I very, very rarely cry… so this is an accomplishment, perhaps of an odd caliber, but an accomplishment nonetheless xD) I truly cannot put my gratitude and sisterly love for you into words sweet girl, so I will simply give a heartfelt thank you ❤︎ You, my dear, are an inspiration to us all.
