Little Accomplishments – February 23rd, 2018

Hi there, and Happy Friday to you guys!! ❤ I hope you’re doing well. 🙂 Last night, I decided to start putting together a Little Accomplishments post for today, so as you can see, that’s what I’ll be sharing with you! Compiling one of these from time to time is so enjoyable, because as I’ve stated before, I love celebrating all of life’s joys – no matter how small! (Edit: I just noticed I put ‘January’ in the title instead of ‘February’ – my goodness! That just shows how time flies, haha!)

On a side note, I wanted to quickly mention that today is my parents’ anniversary! ❤ This is a really special date for them, and for our whole family, as well. I couldn’t ask for a better friend than my mom, or a greater supporter than my dad – they both mean so much to me, and are my two biggest role models. I’m extremely thankful for all that they do for us! 🙂

Alright, now I’m ready to talk about today’s post! If you are, too, let’s check out what I’ve gotten done this past week. xx Happy reading!

Little Accomplishments –
February 23rd, 2018

This past week, I …

  • got all of last year’s pictures printed. (I’ve been needing to do this for a while, so you have no idea how much joy this accomplishment brings to me!! Knowing all those pictures will be printed, without the possibility of being lost on our family computer forever [lol], gives me such peace of mind. I’m looking forward to their arrival in the mail so I can sort them into my photo boxes [which you can see below].)

  • cleaned up my whole closet. (Another thing that’s been long in coming – I’m very happy that it’s finished now! I’ll be getting a dresser soon to keep my clothes in, instead of stacking them in my closet, because that hasn’t been working very well. Until then, I’ve created a nice setup, which I’m finally content with!)
  • worked on more blog posts. (Recently, I’ve been going through so much with my family – both good, and the occasional bad – that I didn’t have enough space left in my thoughts to compose a good blog post much of the time. However, this past week, I’ve enjoyed sitting down and coming up with ideas to then eventually write about on my blog. I hope you guys will enjoy them, too!)
  • got my very first camera. (Ahhhh I’m so excited!!! It just arrived in the mail this past Tuesday, and in the days since, I’ve thoroughly been enjoying trying out its many settings and getting familiar with how it works. After extensively browsing on Amazon, I found that the Kodak Pixpro AZ361 was the best choice for me. I have to tell you, the ease of use, fantastic image/video quality, and durability of this camera are an absolute steal at its current price! If you’re in the market for a camera, I’d highly recommend looking into this one. ❤ )

Thank you so much for reading!! I hope that you have an absolutely fantastic weekend. ❤ Before I go, however, I have a quote of the day that I’d like to share with you.

“You matter in God’s eyes.”

I pray that you’ll never forget that beautiful fact!

Let me know in the comments below:

What have YOU gotten done this past week?

Have a great day!

  3. Congrats to your parents!!! 🙂 I wish them a happy new year together!

Way to go on everything! The camera looks so nice! I bet you are going to have fun taking pictures 🙂 I can so relate to the stacking of clothes!!!! A dresser was something I took for granted till I didn’t have one. Last year, my dad found me a dresser at a thrift store so I have been able to use it 🙂 Have a lovely weekend!

    1. Thank you! ❤ and yes, I'm so excited to now have one of my own! I love experimenting with it 🙂 I did the same – I thought I could manage without a dresser, because I didn't like how my dresser looked in my little room. So I gave it to my mom and have been stacking clothes for the past year, or so … but it doesn't work too well much of the time, haha! Thanks girl, you too! ❤

  4. Happy Anniversary to your mom and dad! How many years are they celebrating? I really want to print some pictures for albums, frames and a few gallery walls. I really want to get copies from the family photos my mom has from when we were little and my extended family as I really want to have pictures of everyone. I’m sad when I think about of all the moments I have no pictures of because I was a stupid girl who thought she shouldn’t be in pictures for being too ugly. I don’t care these days. I can look like shrek and I’m still going to be in the pic lol I absolutely love the boxes you got, such lovely prints. ❤️

    1. Thank you, Cheila! ❤ Two decades. 😉 That sounds wonderful. I'd love to frame some more pictures soon, as well. Ahh I have a time period like that in my early teenage years as well lol, where I didn't show up in too many pictures. When I did, I looked so poorly! haha thanks xx

  5. (Sorry I’m so late replying to this. 😊)

Happy (belated) anniversary to your mom and dad! ❤

It's nice to have a clean closet, isn't it? 😀 I need to do the same soon; mine is a disaster zone. XD

Aaaahhhh, congratulations on getting a new camera! It looks like a great one! 🙂 I can't wait to see the photos you take with it. ❤
