Bullet Point My Day – January 2018

Bullet Point My Day – January 2018

Hey guys, and happy Saturday to you! ❀ I hope that your weekend is going well. πŸ™‚ Shortly after I had breakfast this morning, I had a fun idea for today’s blog post, which is why I am here sharing it now!

Over the course of the whole day, I kept track of everything I did on the bullet list shared below. This means that from the point I woke up, all the way down to when I went to bed (which I will do right after publishing this!), you get a peek into what my life is like on relaxing weekends at home! I had a lot of fun keeping track of today, and I’m looking forward to doing it again at some point.

While there will definitely be days in my future with more going on than there was today, it was nice to capture what relaxed days are like at this time in my life. Getting a few things done and hanging out with my family was the eventual focus of today, and I absolutely loved it. It was quite relaxed, and we were all happy.

I often find myself wishing that my life was more full, providing me and my family with more activities to do and places to go … but man – I wouldn’t trade beautiful days such as this for the world. ❀

Being thankful for the present is something I desire to be mindful of, every single moment.

While it’s nice to have places to go and things to see, weekends like this are a huge blessing, too. (:

Introduction aside, I’ll be turning in for the night here shortly. Whatever time of day it is where you are, I pray that you’re doing well, and that you enjoy this post! ❀ Happy reading!

  1. Why is there something happening between making food and eating it? I usually just go straight for the food once it’s done, no questions asked. πŸ˜‚

    1. Haha, yeah that does look like I’m putting off eating!! At breakfast, I was letting my oatmeal set, and then at lunch, it was too hot, so I went and checked the mail while it cooled. XD I usually do the same thing. When I can start eating immediately, I do, haha! ❀

  2. Sounds like you had a fun day πŸ˜€ Wow! 2 miles – that’s great πŸ™‚ Aww you’re such a great older sister! Seems like you always have time for your younger siblings to have fun with them ❀
Hope you have another fantastic day!

  3. This was such a nifty, creative idea Maggie! 😊 I love the concept of this–not just for evaluating where you’ve spent your time, but seeing areas you could improve. Like for me, I tend to overestimate how much time in God’s word I’ve spent. If I took the time to write out throughout my day how often I prayed or studied the Bible, I’d see when I could fit in a little more time with Him πŸ™‚

I hope you had another enjoyable day today! ❀

    1. Aww thank you, Jordan! ❀ I love making lists like that, and keeping track of everything really helped me stay mindful of where I was spending my time. πŸ™‚ Yes! It did help me to see where I could improve on next time. I'd enjoy seeing a post like this from you, if you'd like to write it someday! ❀ Thanks, girl!

      1. You’re so welcome Maggie! πŸ™‚ I’m such a list/agenda oriented person that I can’t believe I haven’t tried this before!! (Well, I did for awhile about the things I ate in a day, but that’s a whole ‘nother ball game lol.) Ooh, I hadn’t thought about making a post out of it, but if you think it’d be worth it I’ll try! πŸ™‚

      2. Haha same!! I hadn’t carried through with it before, but I found it to be enjoyable. Ooh I’ve done that, although that just made me realize how many desserts I eat!! XD certainly! I’d love to read that πŸ™‚
