Blogging Challenge – Day 21: Bible Verses That I Love

Happy Sunday, everyone! I’d like to wish all of you an absolutely beautiful day, and an even greater start to this upcoming week. πŸ™‚ xx

This is the last day that I’ll be changing up the prompts, I promise! Tomorrow, I return to the actual prompts of the challenge. I’m sorry if I’ve bored any of you with my fill-ins, but hey, I had fun writing them, lol.

So, for today, I’ll be talking about Bible verses that I love. I’ve had my Bible since I was eight years old, and in the eight and a half years since my parents gave it to me, I have come across countless verses that spoke to my heart. I can’t get over the power of the Lord’s Word; every time I open it, willing to learn, there’s always something new for me to ponder, and every time, I marvel over the power that the Bible has.

It has inspiration for those who seek Him.

You can read about what this challenge is here. And make sure to check out Cheila’s and Angela’s posts for today, too – we’re all doing the challenge together!

Bible Verses That I Love

“And I will be your Father, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” – 2 Corinthians 6:18

“The Spirit of God, Who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” – Romans 8:11

“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” – Romans 8:26

“And I am certain that God, Who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” – Philippians 1:6

“I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.” – Psalms 3:5

“Your Word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

” … for My Father has given them to Me, and He is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.” – John 10:29

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” – Hebrews 4:16

“Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.” – Psalm 96:4

  1. I love these verse! A couple of my favourites are Proverbs 3:5&6 which says..”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.” and Romans 9:18&19 which says…”I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” ❀

    1. Yeah, that one has helped me through some really tough times. I used to have trouble falling asleep, but knowing that the Lord is watching over me and keeping me has really helped me over the years to be okay with falling asleep now. πŸ™‚ You’re welcome!
