April Twentieth, Two-Thousand Seventeen

April Twentieth, Two-Thousand Seventeen

Well, yesterday was quite a day.

I spent the majority of it at the hospital with my family for my mom to have a d&c done. You can read about what happened on my mom’s blog here.

I had anticipated that the day would hold a lot of anxiety and stress for us … but that wasn’t the case at all. The Lord heard our prayers, and He provided us with the calm and peace we needed during those long hours in the waiting room – and outside at the plaza, too.

I was so scared that my mom would be in a lot of pain post-op, much like what she went through after her first cesarean. But the procedure went very well, and I am sooooΒ thankful that she has felt much like her normal self all of today. She was hardly in any pain at all!

I am beyond relieved that this chapter of our life is almost over. Thank You, O Lord, for bringing us through it. ❀

“So I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings will I rejoice.” ~ Psalm 63:4,7
