Little Accomplishments – April 7th, 2017

What have you accomplished this week?

Welcome back to this week’s Little Accomplishments! I didn’t do one last week because my family and I were going through some different, stressful things, but I’d like to thank you guys so much for your prayers; this week was much better. πŸ™‚

With everything being hectic last week, I wasn’t able to get very much done, lol. But that’s okay, because I accomplished a lot of good things this week!

Make sure to share what you accomplished this week in the comments below. πŸ™‚

Let’s celebrate all of life’s joys – no matter how small!

This past week, I…

  • caught up on my Spanish learning. (Again. Haha, I know I keep doing that, but I’m trying to be more consistent! I’ve memorized 412 of 609 words in Spanish 3.)

  • found some awesome books at the library. (I haven’t read a good novel in months (couldn’t find anything interesting), so I’m really excited about all of these!!)

  • watched Moana. (I loved it so much, and the animation is amazing!!! [I’ll write a review on it soon. Be on the lookout for that!])
  • wrote a book review on my book review blog. (Yeah. First time I’ve posted since last November. lol Check it out below, or click here!!)

Comment what YOU’VE done this week down below – last Saturday through today!

  1. I am so thankful that this week has been a little better for you. It’s a ray of sunshine to see a post. I checked out you book review blog, all I can say is WOW!

Shew this week has been busy full of just ordinary stuff but it seems non stop. Got my drivers license renewed, car inspected, and the tags renewed. Had an unexpected call from the doctors office, had to deal with that. A lot of little different things that I had to take care of for my Mom. I had my acupuncture done, and today will be full or errands(post office, groceries, and helping my son get stuff done)

    1. I’m thankful that this week has been better, too. πŸ™‚ Last week was crazy! Aw, thanks; I love posting on there occasionally. 😊 Glad you’ve had a productive (albeit ordinary) week; those are always enjoyable for me when I know I’ve been productive. I hope that you have a great weekend! ❀

      1. Thank you Maggie πŸ™‚ I am going to do my best to have a good weekend. I hope you have a great one too. I stopped and got donut holes while I was out. Although I know they aren’t as good as the homemade ones you made, I kept thinking about that post and had to have some donut holes of some kind πŸ™‚

      2. You’re welcome. Haha aww, I’m sorry I gave you a craving for donut holes! If I can ever find a way to send you some of my homemade ones, I definitely will. 😊

    1. Thanks! Yeah, I’ve been using the app Memrise to learn Spanish since the end of December, so that’s about three months now. πŸ™‚ I love it! Yeah, Moana was great. All of the songs were so pretty! (Or, in some cases, funny) πŸ™‚

    1. I’m looking forward to writing it! I loved so many things about Moana. Ooh, a self defense seminar? That’s interesting! You’ll have to write a post about how that goes 😊

    1. Thank you, Chelia! I sure hope so; I’m putting my all into learning it. πŸ™‚ I think we’re planning to do activities outside this weekend, as the weather’s so nice right now … we’ll be celebrating my birthday on Monday, and yes, I’ll definitely be reading at every moment I can haha

  3. I’m glad this week has been a little better. πŸ™‚ Great accomplishments – enjoy the reads! I just started the Wars of the Roses series (Stormbird is the first book) by Conn Iggulden. Good so far! My biggest accomplishment has been getting a little mini egg hunt set up for my toddler and her friends for a playdate. Haha, not so big, but fun!

  4. I am so happy that you and your family are better! I’m sure things will improve even more!

I haven’t seen Moana yet, but after what you said, I think I will!

As for me, I just got home from the movies. I went with my friends to watch “Beauty and the Beast”. God, how amazing it was!
I also made such a progress on my Statistics essay, starting writing a new chapter and I bought all the Easter presents!

Have a great weekend Maggie! Bless you!

  5. I am SOO glad our spring break is going to be THIS coming week instead of one of the last two!! πŸ˜‰
Well done with Spanish. And I’m glad you’re finding some new books to enjoy.
I finally got a little bit of sewing done and I’m about 2/3 of the way done with the cozy mystery I’m reading. 😊

    1. I’m very thankful, as well. πŸ™‚ It’s nice to have life be pretty normal again. Thank you!! Learning it is a lot of work and can definitely get repetitive, what with learning the same words over and over again (haha), but it’s teaching me so much, which is really increasing my knowledge and understanding of Spanish. πŸ™‚

  7. I’m so happy that your week was easier! Great work with the Spanish! I absolutely loved Moana and can seriously listen to the music every day (which is a good thing because the kids want to listen to the music every day). I think that my biggest accomplishment this week is starting to read the Bible. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for a couple of years and tried but got discouraged because I felt I didn’t understand what I was reading. Well, I tried again and am finding it enjoyable. I look forward to my 10-15 minutes with the Bible each evening now.

    1. Me, too! The last couple of weeks were very tiring.
Aw thank you! x I’m excited to be learning so much.
Yes, Moana’s music is amazing – yeah, it’s nice to enjoy the same music as the songs your kids are obsessed with, haha!! πŸ˜‚
That’s awesome about reading the Bible! That is definitely a great accomplishment. Could you tell me where you’ve been reading recently?
