Little Accomplishments – March 10th, 2017

What have you accomplished this week?

Welcome back to another post in my Friday series called Little Accomplishments!

I hope you all had an awesome week. ❤ If it wasn’t that great for you, however, I’m sorry about that and I’m here to wish you a happier next week! *positive potato*

Here’s a quick rundown for this post: I’ll compile a list of the little things that I did these past seven days that I’m happy that I did, and every person reading this is invited to share what you guys have done this past week, however great or insignificant, that you’re proud of! If you’re interested in doing a similar post like this yourself, feel free to copy this idea! Credit is needed only if you so desire 🙂

Let’s celebrate all of life’s joys – no matter how small!

This past week, I…

  • achieved a twenty day streak on Memrise. (That’s twenty straight days of learning Spanish – and that makes me very happy!)
  • got some books from the library on American history. (It’s something I’ve been wanting to study for so long, and I’m happy that I finally decided to get some books on it, haha)

  • bought craft supplies at Hobby Lobby. (I got yarn and watercolor paper! There are different crafts I’ve found on Pinterest (and also thought of myself) that I’m so excited to try! (Or rather, DIY, lol) I also retrieved some felt from our craft cabinet, as my mom bought it months ago and I’m now finally feeling craft-inspired. lol

  • worked on the 1800 pictures I need to go through on the computer. (I have to organize, categorize, and sort, as well as delete all of the blurry and unneeded ones. It can get rather tedious, but I also enjoy it! About 1000 down … 800 still to go. 🙂 )

Comment what YOU’VE done this week down below – last Saturday through today!

  1. What a productive week Maggie!!! I am interested in seeing the crafts you create. Will you be sharing some of those with us??

I did the same old stuff I did last week but I did learn how to do tags and I just figured out how to post pictures on wordpress, YAY! So, I feel like a computer genius right about now…LOL 🙂

    1. Yes, I’m planning on posting a few DIY posts! Just as long as the crafts turn out alright, anyway… 😂 If they’re humiliating, I might have to wait until I make something picture-worthy. lol
That is so awesome, Margaret! It is very satisfying to learn a new electronic skill – especially when you learn it yourself! Congrats 😀

      1. At least you try. They probably turn out better than you give yourself credit for, I see stuff I do and think ewww but then other people see them and want them. Even though I still don’t see it LOL And you have mail btw 🙂

  2. I have to admit, I haven’t got much done; I’ve been watching Crufts dog show which is live streaming on YouTube and will be until Sunday evening, I think. I’m done watching it for today though; they’re doing the actual show part right now, (you know, where purebred dogs trot around in a circle and a judge picks the prettiest one, or something like that,) and I’m more into the agility and all that, where you get to see the dogs actually doing stuff.;)

  3. Wow, you’ve accomplished a lot this week. Way to go!

-For me I accomplished staying sober and not drinking any red wine. I decided to stop and I’m feeling great. I am reading books at night instead of drinking red wine. So, I’m reading a lot more.
-I finished reading “Book Thief” and now on to another book.
-I’ve been exercising more too and have been doing 2 hours of a cardio sometimes in one sitting. I have a toddler, so when I drop her off at the YMCA day care, I have 2 hours to exercise and I take full advantage.
-I completed a chapter revision on a novel I finished and sent it off to my editor.
-Finally I made attempts to keep current on my blogs. 🙂

Hope you have a great weekend and nice discovering your blog. When you get a chance, check mine out. lilpickmeup.com.

    1. Thank you! And congratulations on all of your achievements! 🙂 Blog dedication is a great one; I’ve had to get used to posting on a regular basis, because before now, I’ve never been able to keep up with posting before. lol I’ll definitely check out your blog. Thanks for coming by mine! 😊
