Blogging Challenges

Sunshine Blogger Award

Chelia over at Pink For Days nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award! πŸ™‚

I just love the name of this specific award! It sounds so bright and cheery.

Alright, on with my answers to her questions!

  1. What is your greatest achievement? When I was 13, I wrote an 18k word novel called ‘The Dark Team.’ It’s about a sleek black pegasus and a huge black dragon. πŸ™‚
  2. What is your biggest blogging related goal? To keep up with this specific blog for at least a year or two. I’m pretty awful about blog commitment!
  3. What’s your guilty pleasure? Different suggestive songs … such as the one I’m listening to right now. Caught in the act!
  4. If you had to eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would you pick? If actual health isn’t in the equation, macaroni and cheese. I couldn’t actually live off of it, but I never get tired of the taste!
  5. What do you do to relax once you get home from work/school? Watch YouTube, or spend time alone in my room, reading the Bible.
  6. What is you best organization tip? Don’t clutter! The less there is, the more focus there can be. Make the most of less.
  7. Tell me about the first time you did something. Anything. – The first time I was finally able to tie my shoes (I was 6, I think) was when I was standing on the sidewalk outside one of my all-time favorite restaurants – Golden Corral. I don’t remember if we had already eaten or if we were on our way in, but I was so stoked proud of myself.
  8. What was the scariest moment of your life so far? -I’d rather not get into it, but it has to do with someone I love and faulty roller coasters. But everything turned out okay.
  9. If you could date a fictional character, who would be bae? – Goodness, I have no idea; there are so many that I love. Well, Mr. Knightley would be pretty fantastic!
  10. What’s your favorite blog? Nuuuu, don’t make me choose favorites! But if you insist … I’d say The Word, which is run by a wonderful woman who posts poems she’s written, as well as Bible verses. I love it so much! She inspires me every day.
  11. Are you a saver or a spender? Saver! I have always been very conscious of my spending, and I absolutely love getting the best deal and finding ways to save money.

My questions are…

  1. What are your plans for next weekend?
  2. If you had to choose one song to describe your life right now, what would it be?
  3. What were you really into as a kid?
  4. Have you ever saved an animal’s life? How about a person’s life?
  5. Are you organized or disorganized?
  6. What’s a strange dream that you recently had? (Don’t be shy; we all have them.)
  7. Who in your life brings you the most joy?
  8. Where is the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?
  9. How often do you stay up past midnight?
  10. What’s your favorite season? Why?
  11. How much time do you usually spend on the internet? What do you usually do?

If you’re a follower of mine, consider yourself nominated!

Comment your answers down below, or write your own post. xx I’d love to see your answers!

I hope you’re having a great weekend so far!

If I had to choose one song to describe my life right now, well, I would probably pick Etude #12 in C Minor by Chopin, because everything’s sort of gone to heck at the moment, XD. (Long story.) But maybe I’m just being dramatic.
As a kid I was really into The Lion King. I still think it’s a good movie.
I recently was taking care of a baby rabbit, as it’s mom abandoned it, but now I’ve given it to one of my other rabbit who’s just had babies.
I recently had a dream we were driving across a bridge across the ocean, and an orca whale jumped onto the bridge and got stuck. Then a team of people had to go rescue it.
My faith and dogs bring me the most joy.
There is this hiking trail near where I live called The Channels. Amazing.
I almost never stay up past midnight. I usually get up at six AM, so, ya know…
Summer, because there’s no school and I can devote my time to lots of projects and gardening.
It really depends on the day, but not a lot. I like watching Youtube and reading blogs.

Thank you for answering the questions! I love all the songs in The Lion King 😊 Oh my goodness, a baby rabbit! That’s so sweet!! Yeah, YouTube is pretty great. Who do you enjoy watching? (Btw, I just requested to follow your blog!)

I like watching the Vlogbrothers, Atkinson Action Horses, and pretty much any dog videos.
Oh, the Pointer Productions blog? I never post on there any more, but if you want to see my old videos, sure!

Oh, I think I know; maybe it sends it to my email, and it’s sending it to my old email. Only I don’t know how to change that, but I’ll look at it.

Congratulations Miss Maggie!!!! I tell you this over and over but you are the sweetest thing in the world to me, AND you shocked me again πŸ™‚ I am honored, that you love the Word and all the kind things you said about me πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
1. I have nothing planned for this weekend πŸ™‚ no travels just rest
2. the song is hard. I love music so I think they all apply to me lol πŸ™‚
3. I was into everything as a kid hahaha My mom said they called me tornado πŸ™‚ But I liked anything to do outside and I loved to draw.
4. I saved my best friends sons. I don’t think I did, that was God because I had no clue what to do and it was over before I knew what was happening. But my friend was driving, her son was sitting in the car seat behind my seat and he started choking. I unsnapped my seatbelt turned around in my seat and dislodged the whole cracker he had crammed into his mouth, and lodged in his throat. Scared me to death.
5. Organized πŸ™‚
6.oh my goodness, I was dreaming me and hubby were learning how to make sushi
7. In order, God, hubby, my son, and honestly seeing a post from you πŸ™‚ It just makes me pure happy
8. The Biltmore estate in Asheville, and not just the house but the whole property is amazing
9.I stay up past midnight more than I should. At least half the nights in a week
10.spring is my favorite. Everything is new and coming alive
11. A lot more time now that I have this blog. I’d say about 2 hours, maybe 3 if you add 15 minutes here and there. The blog takes up most all of that.

Thank you so much, Margaret! ❀ You always know how to make my day. Thanks for answering the questions! That’s amazing that you saved your friend’s son. Choking is so dangerous for little kids! Honestly, I stay up too late every night; I wake up every morning feeling awful, asking myself why I went to sleep when I did, haha! Note to self: Get more sleep! I love spring, too, but I’m very sensitive to pollen, so I spend the majority of our springtime sneezing and on Benadryl. Too bad my birthday is in the spring; I would’ve preferred a fall birthday. haha

well maybe the pollen thing will change as you get older. I use to have horrible allergies, literally had to sleep sitting up until I was 20 or so because I would stay so clogged up and couldn’t breath at night unless I was upright but one day it slowly started going away and now I have no allergies at all. I’m a spring baby too πŸ™‚ Birthday is in April πŸ™‚

I hope so! Dang, that sounds awful. My biggest problem is the sneezing; once I start, I can’t seem to stop! πŸ˜‚ Whatever season it is, whether I’m healthy or unwell, you’ll probably find me sneezing. Oh, that’s awesome! My birthday is in April, too; it’s the 10th πŸ™‚ When’s yours?
