Everything Happens For A Reason

Today, through two different, unrelated situations, the Lord reminded me to continually trust in Him – whatever the circumstances may be.

Unfortunately, I tend to think that unfortunate events are mistakes and are outside of the Lord’s ability to control – which absolutely isn’t true.

The Lord has taken everything into consideration when it comes to what will happen throughout the entire course of my life. That includes everyone’s mistakes and mess-ups – including those that I make myself. Everything does happen for a reason, even when the reality of certain situations are so painful right here in the present.

The wonderful thing about the Lord is that He isn’t putting me through these trials alone; He always has been, and He always will be, right here beside me. Problems don’t come up for no reason, and they are certainly not mistakes – He has a good reason for everything He allows to happen to me, even if I never find out why things are a certain way.

I’m not supposed to know everything. But because He does, I am called to trust in Him, and thanks to His love and grace, I am able to do just that. I can draw from His strength, accept His forgiveness, and rest in the shadow of His wings all the days of my life.

Life isn’t always easy – in fact, most of the time, it isn’t. But is sure is a blessing to have my Creator always taking care of me and helping me every step of the way.

Awesome post❀️
It reminds me of Proverbs 3:5-6
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight’.
